"Unplug the Love" Music Festival

“Unplug the Love” Presented by Tesla

The music festival branding for "Unplug The Love" was created as a sarcastic anti-love campaign that provides a space for single people without plans on Valentine’s Day. In the marketing materials, there are a variety of small call-outs that offer this passive voice with a rude-tone to counteract the typical Valentine’s Day advertising.

Additionally, the red and black color palette represent both Tesla, the chosen sponsor for this event, and the anti-love movement. Assets include broken hearts, fake love letters, and an overall sense of “No Fucks Given” in these designs. These choices help draw attention to the younger audiences and the nihilistic viewpoints that those who are single often have towards love and relationships on Valentine's Day.
